We are pleased to present to you our first short film. This project is about a unique, extraordinary place. The only place of its kind in all of Russia: Buzuluk Bor (The Buzuluk Pine Forest). For more than 10000 years it has stood in Samara and Orenburg regions. It is the largest relict forest in the steppe part of Eurasia. Buzuluk Bor plays an integral role in the local environment. It creates a temperate microclimate and protects the surrounding areas from dry winds and blowing sands. Should this forest disappear, the Volga Region and the Southern Pre-Urals will turn into a desert. The Buzuluk Pine Forest is a true pearl of this land, therefore we must preserve it.
